[XenoXenon - Under The Day Light]

Lovely sound, soothing composition. The peaking, however, is less lovely. Get rid of that and it'll sound way better. I want to give this 5 stars, but the peaking distracts me too much.

Thanks. That's one of my favorite SotN pieces, my favorite must be Crystal Teardrops. Mabey I had Castlevania in mind when composing this, I have no idea, but I have listened to alot of Castlevania music. Still working on this thou.

I really like how it starts, I just wish it were longer. I was waiting for the badass bass to come in, but then it was over.

Okay, I gotta know what program you're using. About the only problem I have with this song is the occasional peaking when it gets really loud (I think the drums are to blame, maybe tone them down just a tad.) Other than that, astounding work!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I'm using Cubase v5 (yup pretty old, but this config works stable for me with only rare errors so I kept it) with some VSTs. If you'd like to have a more detailed list, feel free to PM me. About the peaks I can imagine that I left the drums to loud here and there - especially that after rendering the sound I ran a noramlization on the whole track that could boost their level too much.

Thanks. Yeah I know what you mean. I've been up since 2am and I just wanted to share still. I upload a lot of minute to minute and a half tunes because I like to show people the raw stages songs go through before they end up as fully fleshed songs. I have a YouTube channel where I upload lots of guitar stuff under the playlist "Riffonomicon" if you're interested in more smoothly edited song sections. I'm glad you liked it though.
